Dear Readers,

On behalf of the Management, the Editorial Board, and the Editorial Team of all our journals, I would like to wish all authors, patrons, and readers a very Happy, Harmonious, and Prosperous New Year 2017!

Our new journal - Indian Journal of Computer Science (IJCS) (ISSN 2456 -4133) is receiving a good response from the academic community. The first issue of the journal was released in September 2016. IJCS is a peer reviewed refereed journal that aims at the dissemination of knowledge about research in Computer Science. Indian Journal of Computer Science is a peer-reviewed journal that provides a platform to researchers, academicians, professionals, and students in all areas of Computer Science to share research achievements, their perspectives, and practical experiences.

2016 was another great year for Indian Journal of Marketing, Indian Journal of Finance, Prabandhan: Indian Journal of Management, Arthshastra Indian Journal of Economics, and Indian Journal of Research in Capital Markets. Our journals continue to enjoy a pan India reach and an excellent international presence. In the year that has gone by, our publications continued to maintain a subscriber base that is unparalleled by any other journal in the field of Business Management in India.

In 2016, Indian Journal of Marketing and Indian Journal of Finance completed 4 years of being indexed in Elsevier's Scopus. The latest SCImago Journal Rank (SJR) and Source Normalized Impact per Paper (SNIP) for Indian Journal of Marketing and Indian Journal of Finance are : Indian Journal of Marketing (SJR : 0.195 and SNIP : 0.147) ; Indian Journal of Finance (SJR : 0.192 and SNIP : 0.028). In the prestigious SCImago Journal Rank (SJR) of Scopus, only four journals of Marketing have made it to the SJR List from the entire Asiatic Region. Indian Journal of Marketing is the only journal in the list from India (Please see this link :

Prabandhan : Indian Journal of Management also completed 1.5 years of being indexed Scopus. All our journals have been indexed in Google Scholar as well. The Google Scholar Metrics are as follows : Indian Journal of Marketing : Google Scholar h5-index : 7 , Google Scholar h5-median : 8 ; Indian Journal of Finance : Google Scholar h5-index : 7 , Google Scholar h5-median : 8 ; Prabandhan : Indian Journal of Management : Google Scholar h5-index : 4 , Google Scholar h5-median : 4. Indian Journal of Marketing is also indexed in Indian Citation Index since 2004 [ICI Metrics : ICI Journal Current Index : 0.059 ; ICI Research Impact Indicator : 0.262]. Indian Journal of Marketing, Indian Journal of Finance, Prabandhan : Indian Journal of Management, and Arthshastra Indian Journal of Economics & Research will receive the updated NAAS Score in January 2017. The current NAAS Score (ranking given by the National Academy of Agricultural Sciences (a Govt. of India institution)) for our journals is as follows: 3.89 for Indian Journal of Marketing, 3.76 for Indian Journal of Finance, 2.58 for Prabandhan : Indian Journal of Management, and 2.34 for Arthshastra Indian Journal of Economics (each on a scale of 10). These indexing and ratings show the recognition of the quality maintained by our titles on a global level.

The highlight of 2016 was that we completed overhauled the websites of IJM, IJF, PIJM, AIJER, and IJRCM. The websites have loads of new features, format, and content for easy navigation. Our new, revamped websites offer a more streamlined user experience. The websites come with added features of Advanced Search, side panels with links for authors, added content that provides critical information for submitting a paper, requesting a Sample Copy, accessing information related to subscribing to our journals, and display information regarding the archives and current issue of our titles. Our websites have various 'Article Tools' for the readers and authors as well. We will continue to add many new features and functionalities to our websites in 2017.

The Digital Edition of the full-text content can also be downloaded in PDF format by paying online. Readers can register with our website and can access the full-text content by paying online using credit cards, debit cards, net banking, cash cards, mobile payments, wallets, and UPI. The complete full-text content of all archives (in PDF format) of Indian Journal of Finance (2007 - 2016), Arthshastra Indian Journal of Economics & Research (2012-2016), and Indian Journal of Research in Capital Markets (2014-2016) is available and can be downloaded. The full-text content of Prabandhan : Indian Journal of Management (in PDF format) is available from 2008- 2014, and we shall be updating the archives for the 2015-2016 content in the first quarter of 2017. The full-text content for Indian Journal of Marketing is currently available for the years 2009, 2011 - 2016. We will be adding more content from the IJM archives in 2017. The Digital Edition for all published issues of Indian Journal of Computer Science will also be available online in the first quarter of 2017.

We also assigned Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) to papers published in IJM, IJF, PIJM, AIJER, and IJCS. A DOI provides a persistent and unique link for each research paper. DOIs make it easy for authors to track when and where their research is cited, discussed, shared, bookmarked, or otherwise used across the Internet, which ultimately enables them to improve their H-index.

We have become more rigorous in accepting submissions. Hence, in 2016, we published 49 papers in Indian Journal of Marketing ; 48 papers in Indian Journal of Finance ; 48 papers in Prabandhan: Indian Journal of Management ; 25 papers in Arthshastra Indian Journal of Economics & Research ; 16 papers in Indian Journal of Research in Capital Markets ; and 10 papers in Indian Journal of Computer Science (the journal started publication in September 2016) written by authors whose primary affiliations included different institutions from India and abroad. The acceptance rate of the papers is between 10-12% of the total manuscripts received for reviewal in our journals. In total, we published 196 original research papers in IJM, IJF, PIJM, AIJER, IJRCM, and IJCS in 2016.

We welcomed two new members in our Editorial Advisory Boards in 2016 - Dr. C.R. Rajan, Associate Professor, Great Lakes Institute of Management and Dr. K.S. Meenakshisundaram, Professor and Director : Cenentralised Academic Administration, Great Lakes Institute of Management, Kancheepuram District, Tamil Nadu joined the Editorial Advisory Boards of IJM and PIJM, respectively.

Our consistent efforts are aimed towards increasing the visibility, impact, editorial cycle time, citations, and the overall quality of our journals. We very much look forward to strengthening the reputation of our publications, and we want to attract more and higher-quality submissions. I hope our readers and patrons share a similar vision, and we look forward to a productive, challenging, and a successful 2017 ahead. In the spirit of continuous improvement, any constructive input on streamlining our processes is very welcome.
